Thank you, prof… You do not know how happy I am to have gotten a good grade in this class [BIB250. How To Interpret The Bible]. It’s just that usually I’m not that good in classes like this. The abstract concepts are very difficult for me to capture. But the assignments helped me make personal application from the texts. At first I didn’t think I was learning anything, but then it surprised me when I began sharing a few things from class with my husband (as if I really was learning!) and later I had the opportunity to preach in church – and upon presenting the Word I definitely felt more sure of myself after having completed a better exegesis of the text than I ever had done previously. I think I was able to present a more complete teaching. In general, several times I felt short on time with the class – but it has been a real good learning experience.
